Nerve Conduction Velocity Study

A nerve conduction velocity study makes it easier for physicians to diagnose patients with neuropathies such as carpal tunnel, sciatica and diabetic neuropathy, allowing early intervention to alleviate prolonged pain. Our NeuroMetrix NC-Stat System uses soft pulsing biosensors next to the skin to test for nerve damage right in our office in minutes, providing essential information for making a diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

Nerve conduction velocity (NCV) is a common measurement made during this test. A nerve conduction velocity test measures how quickly electrical impulses move along a nerve. It is often done at the same time as a Dynamic sEMG.
